From our workshop in Suffolk, UK, we specialise in rebuilding engines for the Land Rover Defender & Discovery TD5.
We also offer general repairs, servicing and MOT repairs for your Land Rover, not just TD5s. Engine upgrades, clutches, brakes & suspension. Transmission rebuilds and upgrades. We also offer an aqua blasting service for any part.
We are a small, local garage, dedicated to providing a top class, professional service, to keep your Land Rover on the road. Whilst we specialise in TD5 rebuild & repairs, we are happy to work on and service other, older models too, whether it's a Series petrol or diesel, 90, 110, 200TDi or 300TDi, to ensure that they are kept in the best mechanical condition possible. We also work with other specialists and can fit their products for you - L.O.F clutches and Ashcroft Transmissions.
If your Landy requires a new engine, we can supply and fit or we can remove and refurbish your existing engine. Our rebuilds use only OEM or genuine parts. TD5 engines for Defender & Discovery
Each of our engines will be rebuilt to a minimum standard, which includes full measurement of critical parts to ensure that they are within tollerance for continued use. Anything out of spec. will get replaced with new, OEM or genuine parts.
At a minimum you will get new bearings, new rings and timing chain. A skimmed, pressure tested head, a skimmed block, injectors flow tested, new, Beru glow plugs, and every seal and gasket replaced. The number of parts replaced in the standard build are too numerous to list here.
You then have the option of adding new pistons, refurbished injectors, a refurbished turbo, a new Denso alternator or a new clutch, to name a few. Contact us to discuss your engine and see what we can do for you.
Our engines can be supplied as long engines or complete and ready to install and shipped worldwide by pallet. All of our complete engines are run on our testbed to ensure correct operation before dispatch.
Alternatively, we can have your vehicle in our workshop to remove, rebuild and re-install your original engine.
